Notes and commentary

Becky Ives said in 1983 that Terry's alleged miscarriage happened twelve years ago, placing Eleven's birth year in approximately 1971 [ST106]. The Duffer Brothers said in an interview that Eleven is 9 during the flashbacks to 1979 and 11 in the flashbacks in season 1 [Variety]. This would place her year of birth in 1970, and the season 1 flashbacks in 1981.
